Oral Pathology

Nevins Dental Center – 3 Center Plaza, Suite 310 Boston, MA 02108

Through oral pathology, Dr. Amini-Salari can identity and manage diseases affecting your mouth and jaw areas, including cancer. Dr. Amini-Salari will examine the inside of your mouth and lips to identify any changes that might indicate an issue, including sores that won’t heal, red patches, white patches, and a lump or thickening on the skin lining the inside of your mouth. If she finds something that looks suspicious, she may suggest a biopsy. Dr. Amini-Salari will sit down with you to discuss your options if treatment is necessary.
