I have entrusted Dr. Smith to take care of both my daughter’s braces. My second daughter just had a peg tooth of her’s built up into a pearly white tooth. Her teeth are so beautiful. Dr. Smith and his staff are like family.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Conventional Braces

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Conventional Braces

    HOW DO BRACES WORK?

Braces are bonded brackets, arch wires and elastic bands that move your crowded or spaced teeth into the proper position, improving both appearance and function. Over a period of time, your teeth will shift as constant, gentle pressure is applied. Brackets are bonded to the front surface of each tooth and wires are attached to the brackets with elastic bands. The slight tension on the wire is gently transferred to the bracket through the elastic band.
